Minerva Dorothy Houghtaling, of Warwick, passed away on December 23, 2011 at home. She was 88 years old.

 

Born on March 10, 1923 in Warwick, NY, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Mary (Bullock) Conklin.

 

She was married to the late Monroe Joseph Houghtaling (1983).

She is survived by her daughters: Julia Doty and her husband Randy of Warwick, and Natalie Nebel of Warwick; her grandchildren:  Candace Doty of Warwick and Richard Nebel of Warwick; a sister, Helen Coulon of Warwick and a brother, Albert Conklin of Canada.  She was predeceased by a son, Monroe Joseph Houghtaling, Jr., a grandson, Stephen Nebel, and  two brothers and two sisters.

 

Memorial donations may be sent to Hospice of Orange & Sullivan Counties, 800 Stony Brook Court, Newburgh, NY 12550.
