Kevin T. Kless

Kevin T. Kless, of Philadelphia, PA, (formerly of Warwick, NY) passed away on January 14, 2012 in Philadelphia.  He was 23 years old.

 

Born on May 18, 1988 in Warwick, he was the son of John Kless and Kendall M. Babbitt Kless.

 

Kevin was a graduate of Warwick Valley High School, where he was an avid baseball player, soccer player and was a scholar athlete.  He also loved playing disc golf.  He was employed with Marsh Company, Philadelphia.

 

He is survived by his father, John Kless of Highland Falls; his mother, Kendall Kless of Warwick; two brothers:  Matthew Kless and his wife Erin of Washington, D.C. and Timothy Kless, of Warwick;  his aunts & uncles:  Kerry Babbitt of Danbury, CT, Kyle Babbitt and her husband Philip Chavez of Rigby, Idaho, Pam Makin of Danbury, CT, Joseph Kless of Massapequa Park, NY, Paul Kless and his wife Susan of Bridgewater, Mass, and Ginny Di Russo and her husband Scott of New Hyde Park, NY; as well as numerous cousins. 

 

Visitation will be on Friday, January 20th, from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Ave., Warwick, NY.  Funeral service will be at 11:00 am on Saturday at Warwick United Methodist Church, 135 Forester Ave., Warwick, NY., followed by interment in Warwick Cemetery. 

 

Memorial donations may be sent to Gift of Life Donor Program, 401 North 3rd St., Philadelphia, PA 19103 (215-557-8090) or WVHS Athletic Scholarship in Kevin’s name, 89 Sanfordville Road, Warwick, NY 10990.

To Kevin's family~ my thoughts and prayers are with you at this incredibly difficult time. Kevin was tremendously loved by his friends and it shows how much he loved and valued his friends and family as well. My heart breaks and I can't even begin to imagine what you are going through. May you find comfort and support from the love that surrounds you. I hope and pray it helps to ease the pain.

To Kevin's family. My sister was a co worker of Kevin's and she spoke very highly of him. Words cannot express my sadness for your family . This is a terrible trajic loss and I hope justice will be served for those that have done this to him. May God be with all of you thru this tough time.
