Mary T. Pavese

Mary T. Pavese, of Warwick (formerly of Culpeper, VA and Copiague, Long Island) passed away on January 25, 2012 at Schervier Pavilion.   She was 92 years old.

 

Born on January 7, 1920 in New York, NY, she was the daughter of the late Felix and Josephine Givonetti.

 

She was married to the late John M. Pavese (1989).

 

A homemaker, she was a member of St. Stephens RC Church, a member of the Newcomers Club and the Warwick Seniors.

 

She is survived by a daughter, Barbara Gustainis and her husband Thomas of Warwick; a son, John Pavese (Sokhary Kong) of Edenton, NC; a daughter, Josephine Jane Pavese (James Klein) of Belmont, MA; a grandson, Thomas J. Gustainis and his wife Emily of Littleton, MA; a great-grandson, Gabriel Gustainis of Littleton, MA; one nephew, Charles Givonetti.  She was predeceased by a sister, Frieda Givonetti and two brothers, John and Louis Givonetti.

 

Visitation will be on Friday, January 27th,  from 3:00-6:00 pm at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Ave., Warwick.  Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am on Saturday at St. Stephens RC Church, followed by interment in Hillcrest Cemetery, Jeffersonton, Virginia on Firday, February 3rd, at 1:00 pm.

 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Stephens RC Church Building Fund, 75 Sanfordville Road, Warwick, NY 10990 or Albert Wisner Public Library, 1 McFarland Drive, Warwick, NY 10990,

My heartfelt condolences to the Pavese family. Mary was a wonderful lady and an inspiring woman who loved life and people. I was fortunate to have known her. She will be sorely missed. May God rest your soul, Mary.
