Linda Gail Finger

Linda Gail Finger, of Greenville, NY and formerly of Warwick, entered into rest on September 27, 2014 at Orange Regional Medical Center.  She was 70 years old.

Born on May 11, 1944 in Warwick, NY to the late Herbert and Irene Finger

Linda was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother.  Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.  Her granddaughter Kendall was the joy of her life.  She loved to crochet, cook and bake.  She worked as a former House Keeping Manager for the Warwick Center for 11 years.  She was a member of the New Milford United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her son Buddy Bennett of Greenville, NY her daughter Melissa Opper and her husband Johnathan and granddaughter Kendall Marie of Mount Hope, NY.  Also surviving are her brother Herbert Finger and his wife Ruth of Port Jervis, as well as several cousins and friends.  She was predeceased by her parents, and her baby son Jason Bennett.

Visitation will be on Wednesday October 1st from 5:00-8:00 pm at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Ave., Warwick.  Funeral service will be Thursday 10:00 am at the funeral home, Rev. Kenneth Tenckinck and Wendy Paul Paige officiating.  Cremation will be private.
