Linda M. Quackenbush

Linda M. Quackenbush, a longtime resident of Warwick, passed away on July 19, 2015.  She was 75 years old. 

Born on January 6, 1940 in Goshen, NY, she was the daughter of the late Jacob and Arline (Beatty) Paddock. 

She was married to the late Roger Quackenbush (1992). 

Linda worked for the Warwick Valley School District for many years and was a member of the Warwick United Methodist Church, where she volunteered with the food pantry.  She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family. 

She is survived by her sons:  Wayne Quackenbush and his companion  Susan of Newport, RI, and Darell Quackenbush and his wife Donna of Pine Island;   two grandsons:  Roy Quackenbush and his wife Kacie of Pine Island, and Geoffrey Quackenbush and his wife Brittany of Vernon, NJ; and her dog, Domino. 

Visitation will be on Thursday, July 23rd, from 2-4 & 7-8:30 pm at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Ave., Warwick.  Funeral service will follow at 8:30 pm.  Private cremation.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Warwick Ecumenical Food Pantry, 135 Forester Ave., Warwick, NY 10990 or a charity of choice.

Besides working with mrs. Quack, my older son had the pleasure of knowing her thru school. What a wonderful woman-I am so sad to hear of her passing. She touched countless people & will be deeply missed. RIP Mrs. Quack xo McKinnon family
