Alice S. Moore

Alice S. Moore, a lifelong resident of Warwick, passed away on September 25, 2015 at Elant, Goshen. She was 89 years old.

Born on February 1, 1926 in Warwick, NY, she was the daughter of the late Jacob and Elizabeth (Luft) Schlagel.

Alice was formerly a Library Clerk at Warwick Valley High School, retiring in 1996.

She is survived by her children: Kristine Ruggeri and husband Richard of Virginia, Robert Moore and his wife Tina of Clarington, PA, William Moore and wife Deanna of Dansville, NY, and Mary Crutts and husband Lee of Pine Bush, NY; her grandchildren: Ashley Moore, Morgan Moore, Lee Crutts, Jr., Renee Ruggeri and Nicholas Ruggeri; a sister, Janet Francisco of Bullville, NY. She was predeceased by brothers Donald Schlagel and Richard Schlagel, and a sister, Katherine Vail.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, September 30^th, from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Ave., Warwick. Funeral service will be at 11:00 am on Thursday at the funeral home, followed by interment in Warwick Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to Warwick Valley High School Library, 89 Sanfordville Road, Warwick, NY 10990.
