Claire Alta Paul

Claire Alta Paul (nee Borger) of Warwick, formerly of Massapequa, NY and Trenton, NJ, passed away on December 28, 2015 at Orange Regional Medical Center. She was 97 years old.

Born on November 1, 1918 in Kunkletown, PA, she was the daughter of the late James and Emma E. (Getz) Borger.

She was married to the late Clair T. Paul (1998).

Before retiring, Claire was a Merchandiser with Hallmark Card Company in Kansas City, MO.

She is survived by her daughter, Pamela Paul of Staten Island; a sister, Vera Mast of Beaverton, OR; two nephews: Roy Lehr of Fogelsville, PA and Roger Lehr of Allentown, PA. She was predeceased by a daughter, Teri Paul in 2012.

The family will receive friends Friday January 22, 2016 from 10:30-11:00 am at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home 17 Oakland Ave. Warwick, NY 10990. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Interment will take place in Jerusalem Union Cemetery in Trachsville, PA at 2:00 pm
