James C. Smith

James C. Smith, of Warwick, NY, passed away on April 2, 2016. He was 58 years old.

Born on June 9, 1957 in Warwick, NY, he was the son of the late Gorham and Ruth (Marks) Smith.

Jim was a self-employed Painting Contractor. He loved his family, his grandchildren, was an avid Mets fan and enjoyed collecting baseball cards.

He is survived by his son, Vincent Smith and his wife Holly of Broadalbin, NY; his grandchildren: Angelo Smith and James Smith; his sister, Martha Langlitz and her husband Baldy and family of Warwick; his brother, John Smith and wife Debbie and their family of Warwick; an aunt, Alice Colicchio and family of Haskell, NJ; and by his good friends, Bill and Fran Predmore of Warwick.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, April 7, 2017, at Warwick Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to Warwick Reformed Church, 16 Maple Ave., Warwick, NY 10990.

I'm not able to attend the service but I'm the year since Jims passing I have thought of him often... I worked with him deliveringnewspapers for many years.... he was a sweet and kind man... may he rest easy... god bless all of you
