Ellen Riportella

Ellen L. Riportella, of Milford, PA, and formerly of Warwick, NY, passed away on June 7, 2017.  She was 74 years old.

Ellen was born Oct. 3rd, 1942 to Myrtle & Hubert Leopard of Warrenville, SC. She was the oldest of four children.

Ellen worked most of her life in the medical field, working with Dr. Freifeld of Middletown, NY, St. Anthony’s Hospital in Warwick, NY and Emergency Management Services in Aiken, SC. in her later years she was retired and made a home & a life for herself in Graniteville, SC.

She was predeceased by her husband, Vernard Riportellla of Warwick, NY, her brother HT Leopard and her sister Cora May Greenhill. both of SC.& her sister in law Anita Riportella of Atlantic Highlands NJ.

Ellen is survived by her children, Mary Forbes of Dingmans Ferry, her granddaughters, Lisa Sapp & husband Jaret, & their children Elizabeth, Danielle & Gerald.  Cayla Welch &  her children Gabriel & Sonja. Her son, Marcel Riportella of Dingmans Ferry & his wife Jennifer & their daughter Alyssa, and Ellen's sister Faye Wright.

Ellen will be missed by all who knew her and forever loved by her family.

In lieu of flowers, if you like, donations can be made in Ellen's memory to the Karen Ann Quinlan Home for Hospice, 28 Fairview Hill Rd. Newton, NJ 07860.

Graveside service will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday, July 15th, at Warwick Cemetery, Warwick, NY.
