Russell Stanley Ferguson

Russell Stanley Ferguson passed away on November 4, 2017 at Valley View Care Center in Goshen.  He was 56 years old.

Born on June 20, 1961 in Warwick, NY, he was the son of R. Stanley Ferguson and the late Phyllis Behnke Ferguson.

Trucks and tractors were Russell’s favorite toys as a child and machinery was the center of his life’s occupations as truck driver, machinery operator, farmer and mechanic.

He is survived by his father, R. Stanley Ferguson; his daughter, Tiffany Ferguson and grandchildren Billy and Scarlett of Matamoras, PA;  three sisters:  Cheryl Ferguson of Warwick, Donna and Joseph Bars of Warwick, Meredith Ferguson of New Milford, and many nieces and nephews.

The family is thankful for the competent and caring staff at Valley View Care Center where Russell was cared for with kindness and dignity during his final years.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Russell’s memory may be made to the Brain Research Foundation, 111 W. Washington St.,  Ste 1710, Chicago, IL  60602; www.thebrf.org; or the charity of your choice.

Friends and family are invited to join us in remembrance of Russell at the Ferguson Homestead  (Donna and Joe Bars’ home) at 335 State Route 94 South, Warwick, NY on Saturday, November 25, 2017 from 1:00 to 4:00 pm.  Interment will be private at the Warwick Cemetery.
