Paul W. “Bob” Miller, Jr., a lifetime resident of Warwick, passed away on October 21, 2011 at St. Anthony’s Hospital, Warwick. He was 73 years old.
Born on April 28, 1938 in Warwick, he was the son of the late Paul W. Miller, Sr. and Emma Keil Miller.
He was married to Nancy (Van Wert) Miller.
“Bob” was a Truck Driver with Jones Chemical Company, Warwick. Previously, he was a Dairy Farmer.
A family statement reads: “He was the hardest working man anyone could know – a one-of-a-kind! He loved working on his tractors, loved to hunt, fish and was an outdoorsman. Everyone has a fun story to remember Bob.”
He is survived by his wife, Nancy Miller of Warwick; a son, Paul Miller III and his wife Karen; two daughters: Christine Mednick and her husband David of Wesley Hills, NY, and Sharlene Pizza and her husband Don of Warwick; two step-sons: Scott Doty and his wife Heidi of Warwick and Randall Doty and his wife Julia of Warwick; a step-daughter, Melissa Brown and her husband Leonard of New Hampton; eleven grandchildren. He was predeceased by a sister, Cheryl Schmick.
Visitation will be on Monday, October 24th, from 4:00-7:00 pm at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Ave, Warwick. Funeral service will be at 10:00 am on Tuesday at the funeral home, followed by interment in Warwick Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice in Bob’s memory.
