John Stewart III

John Stewart III of Goshen, NY, passed away on June 18, 2021. He was 32 years old.

Born in Middletown, NY on July 12, 1988, he was the son of John Stewart Jr. and Denise Ayoub.

John grew up in Washingtonville and attended St. Mary’s Church. He played football and baseball while in high school, both of which he continued to play and follow, adding in basketball as a favorite along the way. John was a faithful fan of the NY Mets and the NY Jets.

John is survived by his father, John of Goshen, NY; mother, Denise of the state of Florida; brother, George; grandmother, Arlene Stewart of Warwick, NY; aunts and uncles, Laura and John Breslin of Warwick, and Richard and Kathleen Stewart of Oradell, NJ and cousins: Lisa Breslin, Patrick Breslin, Thomas, Stewart, Daniel Stewart and extended family members.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on July 15^th, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Stephen the First Martyr Church, 75 Sanfordville Road, Warwick, NY. The Mass may be viewed via livestream if you cannot attend in person with this link: https://venue.streamspot.com/event/Mjc0NTkyMQ==

Sending my sincerest condolences to the family. John was one one of my son, Joseph’s first friends when we moved to Washingtonville. Joseph passed in 2012; hearing about John’s passing was just crushing, truly heartbreaking. I pray for the family, that you may find some measure of peace in these difficult days.
