Marie R. Hasbrouck

Marie R. Hasbrouck of Warwick, NY, passed away on March 19, 2023 after a brief illness at Garnet Medical Center, Wallkill. She was 84 years old.

Born in Honolulu, HI, on July 28, 1938, she was the only child of Aplacido Vegas and Rose Rosario.

Marie relocated to Warwick, NY after marrying her sweetheart Charlie in 1957. Together the couple raised a loving family. She was a longtime independent beauty consultant and owner of Marie’s, a beauty shop that she operated out of their home. Additionally, she was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Warwick. She cherished the many years of service that she spent in the volunteer preaching work within her community. She is remembered as a generous, loyal and caring friend to many.

A family statement reads “Marie always had a quick wit and sense of humor to match it. She had a soft-spoken and warm-hearted manner, and so much love both for and from her large family.”

Marie is survived by her five children: Kathryn Tiedemann and her husband Bill of Warwick, NY; Kenneth Hasbrouck and his wife Rachael of Cape Coral, FL; Cheryl Ziegler and her husband John of Homosassa, FL; Thomas Hasbrouck and his wife Michelle of Warwick, NY; Aaron Hasbrouck and his wife Kristen of Warwick, NY; son-in-law David Graham; grandchildren: Meghan, Tim, Katie, John, Rebecca, Brynn, Emilie, and Ryan; and, great-grandson Elijah. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Charles and daughter Debra Graham.

All are welcome to attend a memorial talk which will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses at 2pm on Sunday, April 2, 2023, located at 17 Ryerson Rd., Warwick, NY, 10990. For those who may not be able to attend in person video conferencing will be available. Please contact the family for these details.
