Judene Giambrone

Judene Giambrone, a longtime resident of Warwick, NY, passed away on April 10, 2024, with her loving family by her side. She was 77 years old.

Born in Jamaica Queens, she was the daughter of James F. and Helen E. (nee Fisher) Ryan.

In addition to working as a paralegal for several attorneys, Judene was the assessor’s clerk for the Town of Warwick until retirement.

In addition to making wonderful memories with her beloved family, she was a long-time member of the Warwick Valley Church of the Nazarene.

Judene is survived by two sons Todd and his wife Dawn and Brett and his wife Lorraine; six grandchildren: Jacob and his wife Dana; Nicholas; Abigail, Jessica, Elizabeth, and Alex; great-granddaughters Audriana and Anya; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Russell, of 55 years, and her sister Valerie Vickers.

Visitation will be on Sunday, April 14, 2024, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Avenue, Warwick, NY. The funeral service will be at 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. A graveside service will be on Tuesday, April 16 at 1:00 P.m. at Warwick Cemetery.

Judene and Russ and our families were friends for over 45 years. We had many wonderful times together. Vacationed together, partied together, went out to dinner together. They celebrated every occasion we had with our family snd theirs and vice versa—weddings, confirmations, communions, etc. etc etc. Judene, my dear friend, you will be sorely missed. Love you always. We always said we would be forever friends. May you rest in peace and be joyful that you are reunited with Russ and Valerie and your amazing mom and dad and the rest of your family.❤️🙏

We only knew Judene for a few years. Her kindness and love for Jesus stood out. She will always be one of those people whose name draws a smille. Condolences to her family on their loss of this dear woman✝️

I am very saddened to hear of Judene's passing. I worked with Judene at Town Hall for 15 years before she retired. She was not only a great co-worker, she was also a great friend and treated me like I was one of her daughters. Judene was always smiling no matter if a day was good or bad. I will miss her beautiful smile, all her great advice that she always gave and all her shoes. Judene had the best shoes. :) I will also miss all of our Town Hall workers happy hour dinners. My thoughts and prayers goes out to the whole family. R.I.P. Judene! I will always treasure the great memories. God Bless!
