In memory of Patrick
Patrick was my neighbor and friend for more than 40 years. We shared many joyous moments in our lives. We also comforted and supported each other during tougher times. Patrick led a life of service to God and church. He was committed to many organizations. I think one of the things he enjoyed most was his volunteer work at his beloved SACH same day surgery. He would come in whistling a tune with a bright smile and greeting, “hey hump, want a cuppa.” And when asked how he was his reply was always “bloody brilliant.” He worked as if he were a paid employee and brought laughter as well as comfort to patients and staff alike. I will miss our visits and seeing him work in his yard which he took great pride in. I will always treasure our time together and his gift of friendship! Anita,Peter and Eileen you are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Love Marlene
