
Braetan G. Petraro of Warwick, NY died unexpectedly in Georgia on February 16, 2020. He was 27 years old.
Born in Brooklyn, NY, raised in Warwick, NY, he was the son of Delana Cameron and Santo Petraro.
Braetan loved life! He was extremely loving, compassionate and very generous. He was a great, loyal friend to many. Braetan was a peacekeeper. He loved his girlfriend, his family, his dog Lola, and the NY Yankees. Braetan enjoyed riding his motorcycle, it gave him a sense of freedom and peace. Braetan also loved driving across the country. He visited all of the lower 48 states and loved America. Braetan also loved the beach and all its tranquility. Braetan was a joker and loved to make others smile. Dancing to all kinds of music was Braetan’s style, but he also had a more serious side; he was always up-to-date on current events and used that knowledge to have in-depth political discussions with many.
Braetan is survived by his mother, Delana Cameron; father, Santo Petraro and stepmom, Desiree; siblings: Briana, Brandon, Nicholas, and Alexis; grandmothers, Marie Petraro and Cyrelin Monica Cameron; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; and his girlfriend, Tiffany Gordon. He was predeceased by his grandfathers, Gennaro Philip Petraro and Alvin Aska Cameron.
At the families request Inurnment will take place privately Cremation Garden of Warwick Cemetery, Warwick, NY. A Mass will be held at a later time at St. Stephen RC Church
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any donations be made to a homeless organization as Braetan loved to help the needy.
