Casey was born and raised in Warwick, NY. He attended his first two years of college at the Johnson & Wales University North Miami campus and completed his bachelor’s degree in travel and tourism management (2004) at the Providence campus where he met his wife, Christine. Together, Casey and Christine started their post-college lives in Tampa, FL where they created an amazing home away from home with many friends and frequent visits to the east coast of Florida to visit his beloved Nanny and Auntie Dana.
Casey and Christine were married in Mystic, CT (2006) and had their first two children (Parker and Connor) while living in Tampa. In 2012, they brought their young family back to the Northeast to raise their children closer to family. They found home again in Wilmington, MA and had their third son (Riley).
Casey was connected to the community through the Wilmington Hiking Club and gained many friends over the years through countless soccer games, boy scout outings, and track meets. Casey, Christine, and their boys loved to ski, play golf, and travel together. He would never turn down a nice glass of bourbon or a well-brewed IPA.
Casey’s love of travel and the outdoors was weaved into his soul. He traveled to 30 countries both personally and professionally. He hiked all over the globe, most notably, Mount Washington 5 times, and was working on accomplishing the 48 NH White Mountains 4,000 foot peaks. He cherished the U.S. National Parks and together as a family they had visited more than a dozen.
Casey’s career in the travel and tourism industry was highlighted by his work for Visit St. Pete Clearwater marketing the beautiful west coast of Florida and at Audley Travel where he shared his love and passion for Africa. In 2022, Casey earned his Masters in Tourism Administration from George Washington University, an achievement he was extremely proud of. Most notably, Casey was Director, Global Trade Development (Canada) at Brand USA where he cultivated and maintained relationships with U.S. tourism partners in the Canadian market. Casey truly loved the work he was doing with Brand USA and was damn good at it!
Casey loved his family with all of his heart. He loved exploring the world. And he loved the people in this world. Everyone who knew him was drawn to his joy, his smile, and his infectious laughter.
