John H. Lavelle of Warwick, NY, passed away on April 8, 2023, at St. Anthony Hospital, Warwick, NY surrounded by his loving family. He was 75 years old.

Born in the Bronx on May 19, 1947, to Henry and Margaret (Nee Duffy) Lavelle. He served in the US Army and was a captain for the FDNY.

John is survived by his wife, Eileen Becker and his children: Jason Lavelle and his wife, Kathy and their children Nicholas and Ava; Justin Lavelle and his wife, Agatha and their children Christos, Peter, Sofia and Greg; Daniel Lavelle and his son, John; Charles Becker and his wife, Laura and their children Eleanor and Callum; Jennifer Rhee and her husband, Gene and their children Hudson and Grace Jun; Kelly Becker-Orlando and her husband, Angelo; siblings Kevin, Kathy, Michael, Marney and Joseph.  He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and his dog Cole.

In lieu of flowers contributions in John's name maybe made to Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8516.

Memorial visitation will be on Saturday, April 15th from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. with a 1:00 p.m. service at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Avenue, Warwick, NY. Interment will be private.
