Frank P. Di Pietro, of Chester, NY, passed away on March 8, 2013 at Orange Regional Medical Center. He was 83 years old.
Born on October 8, 1929 in Newark, NJ, he was the son of the late Francis P. and Sarina (Giaimo) Di Pietro.
Frank was the owner of Rome Liquors, in Fairview, NJ. He then worked for McCarter & English until his retirement 13 years ago. Frank enjoyed stamp and coin collecting, painting, visits from grandkids and especially jigsaw puzzles in later years.
He is survived by his wife, Maryann of Chester; his children: Frank Di Pietro, of Chester, John Di Pietro and his wife Mary of Emerson, NJ, Donna Olsen and her husband Darren of Waterford, MI, Christina Zalewski and her husband Jim of Cumming, GA, and Laurie Infantino of Warwick; his grandchildren: John Di Pietro, Jr., Tara, Allison and her husband Andy, Brandon, Caitlin, Megan, Jennifer, Abigail, Michael, Janine and her fiancé Jared, and Samantha; and great-grandchild, Elias; loving sister, Concetta Campanile and her children Cynthia Kinney, Claudia Nagy and Mark Campanile.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, March 13th, from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Avenue, Warwick. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am on Thursday at St. Stephens RC Church, Warwick, followed by interment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, E. Hanover, NJ.
