Paul A. Hybbeneth of Pine Island, NY (formerly of Warwick, NY) passed away unexpectedly on March 11, 2020. He was 50 years old.
Born in Bronx, NY to Paul and the late Charlene (Scherer) Hybbeneth on January 24, 1970.
Paul joined the U.S. Navy after Warwick High School. He proudly served his country for four years.
Paul was self-employed as a painter, with his company Paul Hybbeneth Painting. A family statement reads, “Paul loved his work. When not working, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, baseball, and watching movies. He loved to cook, especially for his kids. He was a great father.”
Paul is survived by his son, Paul of Monroe; daughter, Rebecca of Minisink; father, Paul of Jacksonville, FL; and brothers, Greg of Chicago, IL and Steve of Jacksonville, FL. He was predeceased by his mother.
Memorial visitation will be on Wednesday, March 18, 2020 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Avenue, Warwick, NY.
**NOTE: Military Honors will be held at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 19. Interment will take place privately at Orange County Veterans Cemetery.
