Margaret M. Benedict

Margaret M. (nee Mabee) Benedict, a lifetime resident of Warwick, NY, passed away on March 29, 2020 at Schervier Pavilion. She was 93 years old.

 

She was the daughter of the late Anna (VanDerMeulen) and Preston S. Mabee.

 

Margaret was the retired Postmaster in Bellvale, New York. She was a member of the Sugar Loaf United Methodist Church.

 

Margaret is survived by two daughters, Norma and Janet; three sons, James, John, and Joel; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sister, Dorothy Mabee; sister-in-law, Carol Mabee; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Raymond K. Benedict; and two brothers, Preston Mabee, Jr., and Raymond Mabee.

 

The family would like to thank the staff at Schervier Pavilion and Dr. Shah for the excellent care provided to Mom during her stay.

 

Cremation and service arrangements are private.
