Kevin S. Conklin

Warwick resident, Kevin S. Conklin, passed away on June 21, 2025, at Westchester Medical Center. He was 71 years old.

Born in Suffern, NY on August 26, 1953, he was the son of Donald and Margaret (Goodell) Conklin.

Kevin had a lifelong career as a grocer, he was a manager at ShopRite in West Milford, NJ.

A sports fanatic, Kevin faithfully followed several national teams: The Colts (football), Islanders (hockey), Orioles (baseball), as well as collegiate teams: West Point hockey, lacrosse, and football along with Texas A&M. Kevin loved to travel, work in his garden, and spend time with his grandchildren in the pool. His grandchildren lovingly called him “T” and “Opa” because he was the “best granddad.”

Kevin is survived by his beloved wife Dawn (Vossler); daughters Kristin Samuels and her husband Courtney of Christiansburg, VA; Laura Benson and her husband Hjalmar of Marietta, PA; son Stephen Conklin and his wife Meghan of Palmer, AK; five grandchildren: Landon, Nathaniel, Roselyn, Skyler, and Allison; sister Lynne Conklin of San Antonio, TX; and brother Keith Conklin of Kittery, Maine.

Visitation will be on Sunday, June 29th from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Avenue, Warwick, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:30 p.m. on Monday, June 30th at St. Stephen RC Church, 75 Sanfordville Road, Warwick followed by interment in Warwick Cemetery, 50 Oakland Avenue, Warwick.
