Richard J. Van Der Molen

Richard J. Van Der Molen, of Warwick, NY, passed away on Thursday, October 10, 2014, at the age of 84.  He was born in Clifton, NJ to the late Daisy and Koop Van Der Molen. 

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Grace Mary Felter Van Der Molen; their children:  Cathy (Janien), Darlene, Lyn (Sam), Myrna (Michael), Rosemarie, and Raymond;  numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is also survived by a sister, Etta Vealey.

A family statement reads:  The family wishes to thank Hospice of Orange County and all the private caregivers who so caringly tended to Dad.” 

Visitation will be on Monday, October 13th, from 10:00am-2:00 pm at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Ave., Warwick.  Funeral service will be at 2:00 pm, followed by interment in the family plot in Warwick Cemetery.
