
Donald Houston Crigar, of Cuddebackville, passed away on August 25, 2012 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center, Poughkeepsie. He was 83 years old.
Born on September 29, 1928 in Goshen, he was the son of the late William and May (Houston) Crigar.
Donald served with the US Army during the Korean War and was a lifetime member of the Warwick American Legion, Post 214. He was a retired Truck Driver with McBride Transportation in Goshen. He was a lifetime member of the NRA, a member of the TriState Rod & Gun Club in Port Jervis and the Middletown Pistol and Rifle Association, serving on both boards.
He is survived by his children: Mildred A. Crigar of Middletown, Deborah Pascal of Warwick, Frank H. Crigar of Cuddebackville, and Donald H. Crigar, Jr. of White Sulphur Springs; six grandchildren: Michael, Dominic and Victoria Pascal, Frank Crigar, Jr., Amanda Crigar and Jessica Roldan; two great-grandchildren: Sabastian Crigar and Isaiah Fiero Crigar.
Memorial visitation will be on Thursday, August 30th, from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Avenue, Warwick. Funeral service will be at 10am on Friday at the funeral home, followed by interment in Warwick Cemetery.
