
Robert Cuddeback, Jr., of Warwick, passed away on September 28, 2014. He was 53 years old.
Born on August 25, 1961 in Queens, NY, he was the son of the late Robert and Lorraine (Lachner) Cuddeback.
Robert was married to Maureen (Burke) Cuddeback.
He worked for the City of New York Parks & Recreation for over 33 years and was a member of the NY City Parks Dept Local #983. He served as a Ground Zero first responder and was part of the cleanup crew for a long period of time.
Robert was an avid outdoorsman, but primarily, he was a family-man. His whole life revolved around helping everyone in his path. He also possessed the ability to make anyone laugh effortlessly, no matter their circumstances. His love for family and friends is unparalleled in this world.
He is survived by his wife Maureen; his children, Robert and Crystal; his step-mother Katherine Cuddeback of Glen Cove, NY; and his siblings: Brad Cuddeback of Locust Valley, NY, Cheryl Cuddeback of Queens, NY, Cynthia Cuddeback of Queens, NY, Guy Cuddeback of Manhattan, NY, John Cuddeback of Glen Head, NY, a multitude of cherished nieces and nephews, and by all those whose hearts he has touched.
Visitation will be on Friday, October 3, 2014, from 3:00--8:00 pm at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Ave., Warwick. The family will gather at the funeral home on Saturday at 9:00 am, leaving at 10:00 am for interment in Laurel Grove Cemetery, Port Jervis, NY.
