Mary Ellen Knipp, of Warwick, NY passed away at home on May 27, 2019. She was 90 years old.
Born to Charles Leroy and Mammie Marie (nee Cannavan) Ellis in Kansas City Kansas on January 5, 1929.
Mary Ellen was a dedicated parishioner at St. Stephen RC Church, serving as a Eucharistic Minister and as a member of the choir.
Predeceased by her husband Fred and her two sisters, Alice Jean McGurn and Shirley Martin, Mary Ellen is survived by her children: Joseph of Warwick, Paul of Ramsey, NJ, Gretchen Proctor and her husband David of Vernon, NJ, Michael and his wife Robin of Princeton, TX, and Kristine Perilla and her husband Miguel of Fulshear, TX; six grandchildren: Lindsie and Michaela Knipp, Brian and Kevin Perilla, Daniel Knipp, and Rebecca Proctor.
A funeral mass will be on June 13, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Stephen RC Church, 75 Sanfordville Road, Warwick. Interment will be in Arlington Cemetery with her husband at a future date.
